The Cost of Excellence

THIS MONTH'S THEME: R.E.A.L. WOMEN

Gave. Raised. Save.

On the Cross you gave. From the Tomb you raised. With the Word you save.

Thank you, Jesus, for covering the cost so we might live in your excellence.

We are unworthy of you, yet worth because of you.

You Have Big Shoes to Fill

Despite recent advancements, living as a woman - and more importantly as a woman of God - still has great challenges. The cornerstone of our struggle rests in the need to remain vigilant about our value in a world determined to minimize it. We are charged with the responsibility to constantly remind the world of our worth.

But I submit to you it is not your responsibility to constantly articulate your value. It is your responsibility to live life in such a way that your anointing speaks for you.

People do not hear excellence.

They see it.

In other words, don't just talk about it.

Be about it.

It is time to walk in your worth.

Are you living out life shouting "I'm a big girl" as you flop, fall, then leave those grown-folks' heels on the floor only to go and play some other game, or are you focused on navigating and balancing who you are now while growing into who you are destined to be?

You have big shoes to fill. Walk in your worth.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession... ~1 Peter 2:9a, English Standard Version

Walk in a good work ethic.

Walk with compassion.

Walk in loyalty.

Walk in consistency.

Walk in your capacity to lead,

and build,

and grow,

and love all at the same time

knowing all that you are and can ever hope to be came at a cost through Christ.

Living a Redeemed Life

Jesus, our Great Kinsman Redeemer, paid the price for your excellence and your pursuit of it. In so doing, he summons us to live a redeemed life, one that demonstrates the value and power of his bloodshed.

... that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. ~1 Peter 2:9b, ESV

A redeemed life exposes the anointing in you through word and deed.

Not title.

Not degree.

Not pedigree.

Word and deed.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17, New International Version

Live as a woman made alive in Christ!

Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses. ~Joshua 1:3 ESV

Take the GOD 'n You into every

boardroom,

breakroom,

bedroom,

prayer room,

school room

kitchen,

C-Suite,

fill-in-the-blank

and because your voice has value choose your words and timing well.

“I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. ~Matthew 10:16 NIV

He Gave. He Raised. He Saves.

This walk is not easy, but you never have to walk it alone. Seek God for the discernment to know how and when to communicate for impact. Use your voice and your life to speak for those who feel they have none.

Unworthy of Christ.

Worthy because of Christ.

That's you and me.

The Redeemer gave, he raised, and he still saves.

The debt for your excellence has been paid.

Now, walk it out.

Oh, this REAL series is about to get real!
