Know Who You Are, Know What You Have
SEARCHING FOR MORE
Last Thursday morning, I was in a place of pure joy anticipating the second night of the Virtual Book Club. So many great testimonies came out Tuesday's event, so many blessed by our special guests. You could sense that chains were beginning to break. I knew Thursday's session would give someone the freedom to finally, finally, finally, live on purpose. But due to technical difficulties beyond our control, it had to be postponed.

Remember What It Takes
It should have been devastating for me, but it wasn't.
Because I know what God told me.
I know what he told me about this book.
I know how sharing his gift healed my family and how he said it would heal others.
]Unlike Cain tin the Bible, I remembered what it took to get here not knowing at first what it would take to get here. His story could not become my story.
Cain, the first born of a womb...
“With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man.” ~Genesis 4:1 New International Version
Cain, the one gifted by God to work in the soil from which his father Adam was formed...
Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. ~Genesis 2:7 NIV
Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. ~Genesis 4:2b NIV
I wonder... Did Cain truly know the favor on his life before he made such a meager offering to the Lord? You wouldn't think so based on his behavior.
In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. ~Genesis 4:3 NIV
Cain was the first created through divine and human collaboration. Cain was the first fruit of Adam's seed. There was none other like him.
