A Prayer for Your Journey
Help us, Jesus.
Make us sensitive to
your will,
your way,
your words.

“God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. ~Matthew 5:3, New Living Translation
The prayers have been prayed.
The praise has been proclaimed.
What else is there but to be silent?
Whisper, Holy Spirit, in the silence.
Dry the tears we have yet to cry trying to be strong.
Please. We cannot do this alone.
Joy of the Lord, be our strength.
This journey is not for the faint of heart, but for the pure in heart.
We shall see God.
We will see You in the "by and by" when the morning comes.
But in the meantime give us the Jesus we need today.
The one who will walk with us and talk with us and tell us we are his own.
Let the joy we share as we tarry with Him be as no other has ever known.
Savior, we share with you our joy... and pain.
We embrace you in fellowship... and suffering.
It doesn't matter who they say you are.
It matters who we say you are:
"Pain in my body - meet my Jesus.
Weariness in my soul - meet my Jesus.
Up one minute, down the next. Jesus.
